Site Reliability Engineer, London, Global Exchange Operator

4 Days Per week in London Office

We are working exclusively with one of the world's largest exchange operators on an SRE hire in London. This is a hands-on technical role at the heart of a follow-the-sun support model, providing critical coverage for both European markets and US global trading hours on ultra low latency bare metal infrastructure.

The Role

You will own platform configuration management, incident response and system availability across production, disaster recovery and certification environments. Working independently across time zones, you will troubleshoot complex issues on bare metal Linux systems, execute SQL-driven configuration changes, build Python automation tooling and work closely with software, systems and network engineering teams globally.

Tech Stack

• Linux, UNIX shell, kernel-bypass networking (Solarflare/Onload)
• Python, SQL, C++
• Bare metal on-premises infrastructure

What They Are Looking For

• Background in technical operations, systems, network or database administration
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision across global time zones
• Familiarity with European and US equities, options or futures market structures preferred
• Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
