Job title: Senior Software Engineer (Scala)

Salary: €50,000 - €75,000 per year
Role Location: Lisbon, Portugal (1 x per week)

Role and responsibilities:
- Take ownership of key backend projects that have strategic impact
- Design and build scalabe systems using technologies like Scala, GraphQL, Redis, Postgres and Elasticsearch
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive technical decisions and deliver high-impact features
- Lead complex initiatives from start to finish
Job requirements:
- Experience with Scala/Java/Kotlin (willing to use Scala)
- Hands on experience with Elasticsearch, Kafka, Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with AWS
- Experience building relevant production ready, scalable web applications.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Fluency in English with legal authorization to work in the EU.
