Role and Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI components, including RAG, LLMs, data pipelines, similarity search, and model context protocols using Python, C++, or TypeScript.
- Build multi-modal AI solutions for search and retrieval with knowledge graphs for unstructured data relationships.
- Apply prompt engineering with LangChain to reduce LLM hallucinations and improve generation control.
- You’ll leverage AI frameworks like HuggingFace or PyTorch to enhance distributed systems.
- Contribute to the AI strategy roadmap and build expertise in the platform’s tech stack.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid San Francisco environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelors in computer science with a focus on generative AI or machine learning.
- 5+ years developing distributed backend systems at scale.
- 2+ years of experience with LLMs, generative AI, or agentic AI.
- Understanding of unstructured data challenges and approaches.
- Preferred: Experience fine-tuning base models, benchmarking for contextual relevance, and using emerging AI tools to boost productivity.
