About the Client
One of our longstanding partners, an established European SaaS company providing automation software to industrial IoT businesses worldwide. Their platform supports large manufacturing operations across the globe, and they're currently growing the team behind the mobile side of a core product used by their global customer base.
Project / Role Overview
You'll join a senior engineering team as a Senior Software Engineer, taking ownership of React Native applications on a core product for manufacturing and IoT customers globally, owning the React Native app end to end, including architecture, performance, and release process. Alongside that you'll spend time on the Next.js/React web app and the Node.js backend, so it's still a full stack role, just one where mobile is your primary focus and where your judgement on React Native decisions carries real weight.
Required Skills and Experience
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Extensive, hands on React Native experience, having owned mobile apps in production rather than just contributed features to one
- Comfortable making architectural calls on React Native apps including navigation, state, performance, and native module integration
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js experience
- Solid production experience with Next.js and React
- Some cloud experience, ideally GCP
- A track record of taking ownership of features or projects rather than just executing tickets
- Strong communicator who brings ideas to the table and works well within a team
Nice to Have
Experience with AI or LLM-powered features
