Job title: Senior Full Stack Engineer

Job type: Contract

Contract Length: 12 months

Rate: $100 per hour (W2)

Role Location: 100% Remote (United States)

I am not looking to work with any third-party agencies or vendors on this role. Seriously guys, please don't call me. Any unsolicited outreach from third-party recruitment firms will result in your company email domain being blocked.

The company:

One of my agency's long-standing clients — a major US direct-to-consumer entertainment company building customer-facing platforms at very large scale. The product side ships through a Vue-based CMS that the engineering team owns end-to-end.

Role and Responsibilities:

The team owns and operates the marketing-platform tooling that the company's marketers use to configure customer-facing experiences. The hire will work across the full stack — Vue 3 on the front, Node.js + TypeScript on the back — and be expected to take ownership of features end-to-end, from production deploys to internal NPM package publishing. The engineering culture is autonomy-heavy: tickets are short, ownership is wide, and the bar is on shipping clean, well-tested production code.

  • Build and maintain features across a Vue 3 production CMS and its Node.js / TypeScript backend
  • Take week-long tasks from short briefs and own them end-to-end without close supervision
  • Contribute to and publish internal NPM packages used across the team
  • Carry the 24/7 on-call rotation for the customer-facing surface

Job Requirements:

  • Vue 3 used on a real shipped project — not a skill-list checkbox. Vue 2 to Vue 3 migration experience is a plus
  • Strong Node.js and TypeScript across the full stack
  • Polyglot front-end background — comfort moving between Vue, React, and Angular is a strong signal of someone who picks up new frameworks quickly
  • MongoDB plus AWS in production, with hands-on ownership of deployments
  • Experience publishing internal NPM packages
  • 24/7 on-call rotation experience on a customer-facing system

Nice to Have:

  • Java full-stack experience as a secondary stack
  • CMS or marketing-platform background — systems where non-engineer users configure customer-facing behaviour

Interview Process:

Signify screen, then client technical rounds focused on code review and design discussion (not coding-challenge style).

Please note we are unable to offer employer sponsorship for this role.

Accessibility Statement:

We make an active choice to be inclusive towards everyone every day. Please let us know if you require any accessibility adjustments through the application or interview process.
