Job title: Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer

Job type: Contract

Contract Length: 6-months

Rate: $25 per hour

Role Location: 100% Remote (LATAM)

The company: This opportunity is with a growing checkout and payments technology company that's rethinking how people complete purchases online. They power one-click checkout for well-known retail and fashion brands, connecting into a network of tens of millions of US shoppers, helping merchants convert more of their traffic into completed purchases.

Role and Responsibilities: This is a senior, high-ownership role. You'd be leading complex SFCC builds, working deep in SFRA, and driving performance and architecture decisions rather than just executing tickets. There's also a mentorship component, guiding junior developers on SFCC best practices as the team scales.

The stack leans heavily on JavaScript, with real focus on advanced customization, site speed, and getting the most out of what SFCC and its ecosystem of third-party tools can do.

  • Lead development of complex SFCC applications, drawing on strong programming skills and deep platform knowledge
  • Mentor junior developers on SFCC development techniques and best practices
  • Optimize SFCC code for performance, site speed, and scalability
  • Design and architect software solutions on SFCC that are built to scale and easy to maintain
  • Push adoption of advanced SFCC features and third-party tools to extend what the application can do
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to fit SFCC components into the broader e-commerce setup

Job Requirements:

  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) experience with working knowledge of SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture)
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud
  • JavaScript development
  • Experience with APIs and web services
  • Experience with database technologies
  • Advanced understanding of algorithms and data structures
  • Basic IT infrastructure knowledge
  • Experience designing and building software modules for production applications
  • Comfortable writing and implementing unit tests
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
