Job title: GCP DevOps Engineer
Job type: Contract
Contract Length: 6 months
Rate: 150-180 euros per day
Role Location: Fully Remote - Europe
Role and Responsibilities:
- Design, build, secure, and manage cloud-native and hybrid platforms.
- Deploy customer environments within clients' managed cloud environments, in alignment with the platform's standards and practices.
- Provide cloud advisory and engineering services to external clients.
- Contribute to the implementation of technical vision and product roadmaps.
- Implement solutions aligned with clients' security and data integrity enterprise standards.
- Build constructive working relationships across teams, functions, and cultures, embodying the client's behaviors and values.
- Consult on and escalate operational issues and challenges that fall outside one's own experience or skill set.
Job Requirements:
- Deep technical experience with GCP (project or operational work); knowledge of Azure is a plus.
- Experience developing automation scripts to manage GCP environments; familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD concepts is a strong plus.
- Experience designing and building Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions (Terraform).
- Experience managing, designing, and building containerized solutions (e.g., Kubernetes/Docker).
- Experience with Identity Management, Networking, Backup, and Configuration Management.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proven ability to dynamically prioritize work to meet deadlines and work effectively with minimal supervision in a team environment.
- Ability to make relevant and appropriate decisions within your field of expertise.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework or Agile methodologies.
- Fluent in English.
