They’re hiring a Founding Engineer to own end-to-end product development in a small, high-trust team that values craft, simplicity, and shipping fast.

What You’ll Do

• Ship secure, fast, and scalable production code across the full stack
• Collaborate directly with the CEO and designer to deliver complete features — backend to frontend
• Build and maintain banking/accounting integrations with rigorous data quality and reliability
• Continuously improve testing, observability, security, and deployments
• Work asynchronously with minimal meetings — trusted to own your time and output

Tech Stack Backend: Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Redis, Sidekiq Frontend: Turbo, Stimulus, ViewComponents, Tailwind

Ideal Background

• 6+ years shipping server-side rendered Rails apps in production
• Thrive in async, ownership-driven environments with high ambiguity
• Bias for simple, pragmatic solutions and polished end-to-end execution
• Take pride in efficient code, hard problems, and user experience
