Technical Program Manager, 12 Month Independent Contract, Fully Remote (EST)

 

We are working exclusively with one of North America's largest audio and entertainment platforms, 150 million listeners across streaming, satellite, podcasting and advertising technology. They are looking for a Technical Program Manager to join on a 12 month freelance contract with a strong likelihood of extension.

 

The Role

This is a senior individual contributor TPM role owning portfolio-level delivery for a critical identity domain that underpins customer-facing experiences across the entire platform. You will lead large-scale cross-functional programmes across distributed systems and microservices, shape roadmaps and multi-year sequencing, manage dependencies across multiple engineering teams and provide executive stakeholders with clear delivery frameworks and investment tradeoffs.

 

What They Are Looking For

5+ years in Technical Program Management or Engineering Program Management

Experience leading programmes across distributed systems, microservices or enterprise platforms

Strong Agile and SAFe experience including PI planning and release management

Proven ability to manage dependencies across multiple engineering teams

Comfortable presenting tradeoffs and delivery frameworks to executive stakeholders

Experience with incident response, release coordination and operational readiness

 

The Contract

12 months, strong likelihood of extension

Fully remote, EST hours

Day rate, paid for days worked

USD 70/Hour
