Job title: Team Lead – Insights & Analytics

Job type: Full-time

Contract Length: Permanent

Salary: €70,000 per year + benefits (based on experience)

Role Location: Hybrid (Utrecht or Amsterdam, Netherlands)

The company: A leading software company with bespoke products for the finance industry.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of analytics professionals, supporting their development.

  • Develop and execute an insights strategy aligned with business objectives.

  • Manage analytics projects from initial scoping to delivery and outcome measurement.

  • Conduct and oversee analysis of complex datasets to extract actionable insights.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver meaningful insights.

  • Create clear and engaging dashboards, visualisations, and reports.

  • Continuously enhance analytics tools, processes, and methodologies.

  • Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure analytics priorities align with business goals.

  • Monitor team performance and provide feedback to support success.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Experience in a leadership role within an analytics or insights function.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.

  • Proficiency in analytics and business intelligence tools.

  • Skilled in data visualisation tools and techniques.

  • Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to link analytics work to business value.

  • Strong communication skills, able to present insights clearly.

  • Excellent written and spoken English
