Role and responsibilities:
  • Implement, maintain, and support information systems to align with the firm’s business objectives
  • Deploy, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot core business applications
  • Meet and coordinate with designated internal stakeholders to understand business goals and needs
  • Gain a deep understanding of business applications and how business units utilize them
  • Understand how business applications integrate and depend on one another
  • Meet and coordinate with external stakeholders to establish strong vendor relationships
  • Develop and implement maintenance and troubleshooting procedures
  • Participate in process improvement, user access management, change management, problem management, and disaster recovery activities related to assigned applications
  • Monitor system health and gather system statistics
  • Maintain system documentation, including application information, diagrams, etc.
  • Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures and develop test cases to support the overall quality assurance process
  • Act as the first line of support for users of business applications
  • Follow all relevant policies and procedures, including Change Management and Project Management
  • Ensure the daily operability of systems by monitoring and responding to incident
  • Adhere to applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations, including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field with 5 years of professional experience (preferred)
  • Strong familiarity with the financial services industry and technology concepts (preferred)
  • Ability to understand business goals and needs
  • Communicating with business and technology leaders, both within and outside the organization
  • Ability to think critically and be analytical
  • Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally
  • Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time
  • Have closevisual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation
  • Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
