Role and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift and UIKit
- Build and enhance features for event management (e.g., attendance tracking, sign-in functionality)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
- Debug and resolve technical issues to enhance user experience
- Optimize application performance and ensure compatibility across iOS devices and versions
- Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and backend services
- Stay up to date with iOS development trends and contribute to process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of experience in iOS development with Swift
- Strong proficiency in UIKit and Core Data
- Experience with Auto Layout and Interface Builder
- Solid understanding of iOS architecture patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM)
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and networking libraries (e.g., Alamofire)
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
- Knowledge of unit testing and UI testing frameworks (e.g., XCTest, XCUITest)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- UI/UX design understanding is a plus
- Experience with sign-in features/functionality (authentication, user onboarding) is a plus
