Software Engineer, Front End – Remote USA

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Applied Genomics team to develop and expand our software platform, the foundation of our applications.
Tackle diverse, exciting challenges, including:
- Managing large data sets.
- Navigating regulated environments.
- Ensuring portability and scalability.
- Optimizing cloud infrastructure and deployment.

Requirements

2+ years of Software Engineering experience.
Front-End Skills:
- Strong UI development with Angular 15+, Micro Frontend, AG Grid/Kendo UI, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Back-End Skills:
- Proficiency in OOP languages like Java.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
Scripting: Advanced skills in Bash and Python.
Databases: Experience with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
DevOps:
- Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in Linux and command-line tools.
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms (deployment pipelines, network config, account policies, etc.).
Architecture: Proven knowledge of web technologies and microservices.
Soft Skills:
- Curious, analytical, and a fast learner.
- Customer-focused, team-oriented, and self-motivated with strong ownership of tasks.
- Able to self-manage and build interdisciplinary relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
