Senior Technical Program Manager – Media Playback Engineering
Location: Seattle preferred (NYC or Santa Monica also acceptable)
Hybrid: Must be able to come into the office 3–4 times per week

Our client, a global leader in streaming media, is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to help lead development of their unified media playback platform. This role sits within the Media Engineering organization, with a specific focus on coordinating efforts across iOS/tvOS teams and internal news product integrations.

You’ll work closely with Engineering, Product, and Program stakeholders to manage delivery of core playback components—driving roadmap alignment, cross-team collaboration, and execution for high-impact initiatives. The ideal candidate is a technically fluent TPM who thrives in fast-moving environments and can connect the dots across distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end execution of media playback programs and features

• Manage cross-functional roadmaps and technical dependencies across multiple client teams

• Break down complex projects into incremental deliverables and sprint-level tasks

• Lead Agile ceremonies and help teams continuously improve delivery processes

• Coordinate communication across stakeholders in multiple time zones

• Understand core architecture and playback systems to help guide planning and implementation

• Partner with other TPMs to standardize delivery workflows and ensure on-time product launches

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of technical program/project management experience

• Proven track record delivering multiple features/products in Agile environments

• Ability to understand and engage in technical conversations about architecture and systems

• Strong organizational and communication skills—able to drive alignment across stakeholders

• Experience managing large-scale cross-functional initiatives with engineering-heavy teams

• Comfortable operating in hybrid work environments with distributed teams
