Job Title: Senior Front-End Engineer

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Contract Length: 12 months (with potential to convert to full-time)

Rate: Competitive, based on experience

Role Location: Hybrid – preferred locations are San Francisco or New York City

The Company:

Role and Responsibilities:

• Build and modernize customer support and commerce tooling using React, Next.js, and TypeScript

• Develop intuitive, scalable, and user-friendly web applications in collaboration with product and UX teams

• Support API integrations with Node.js service layers and AWS

• Play a key role in migrating legacy systems to a modern unified tech stack

• Contribute to architecture reviews, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives)

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience

• Proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and building enterprise-grade user interfaces

• Experience with Node.js for API integrations and AWS cloud technologies

• Strong background in system design, scalability, and end-to-end feature ownership

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

• Experience with customer support tooling, subscription systems, or AI integration is a strong plus
