The Sales Admin role is a junior-level position focused on supporting the sales team by managing data entry and reporting in Salesforce. The candidate will take information from salespeople (e.g., sales opportunities or leads from campaigns like HubSpot) and enter it into Salesforce to update the sales funnel. Additionally, the role involves running reports on sales performance (e.g., weekly or quarterly results) for the Chief Operating Officer (COO). The position requires basic data management skills, familiarity with Salesforce, and the ability to coordinate with the Salesforce admin for custom reports.
  • Duration: 3 months
  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • Perform data entry in Salesforce, inputting sales opportunities and lead information provided by salespeople or campaigns (e.g., via HubSpot).
    • Update the sales funnel in Salesforce to reflect new leads, opportunities, or campaign priorities.
    • Run reports in Salesforce on sales performance (e.g., weekly results, past three months) for the COO.
    • Collaborate with the Salesforce admin to format or customize reports as needed.
    • Prioritize and organize campaign data to make it actionable for the sales team.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with Salesforce for data entry and basic reporting. Familiarity with HubSpot or similar tools is a plus but not required.
    • Analytical Skills: Ability to run and interpret basic sales reports, with potential exposure to business intelligence (BI) tools (though not expected).
    • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail to manage data accurately and prioritize tasks.
    • Experience: Approximately two years of experience in an administrative or sales support role, ideally with Salesforce exposure.
