Role and responsibilities:
This role focuses on solving complex challenges in financial infrastructure, specifically in post-trade, treasury, and cash portfolio systems. Engineers in this position will work closely with finance, treasury, and operational teams to design and build technology that supports financing capacity, reduces counterparty risk, and manages cash portfolios effectively.
The engineering team builds foundational platforms for margin and cash management, supporting large-scale trading and investment activity. This is an opportunity to contribute to the architecture and implementation of scalable systems that are core to the firm's financial operations.
Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable and extensible systems for post-trade processing, cash management, and financing operations.

Collaborate with functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and software solutions.

Propose architecture and system design ideas to support evolving business and technical goals.

Own and deliver high-impact engineering solutions, with a focus on automation, transparency, and resilience.

Follow and contribute to the team’s engineering best practices and software development lifecycle.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

At least 1 year of relevant software engineering experience; 2+ years preferred.

Proficiency in Java is required; familiarity with Python (especially with Pandas) is a strong plus.

Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.

Experience developing and maintaining systems that handle high data volume and complex processing.

Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and demonstrating ownership over business-critical systems.

Prior experience in financial services or trading platforms is beneficial, but not required.
