Job Title: Quantitative Product Analyst
Salary: $160,000 – $200,000 + Equity
Location: San Francisco, CA

A fast-growing, VC-backed startup is hiring a Quantitative Product Analyst to help drive product and business insights through hands-on data analysis. This team supports product experimentation, strategic decision-making, and customer optimization for enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate has a strong quantitative foundation, deep SQL expertise, and thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments.

In this role, you’ll analyze product performance, monitor key metrics, and determine which experiments are working to guide product and business strategy. You’ll use SQL and experimentation frameworks to turn raw data into actionable insights. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to influence decisions around product deployment and customer targeting, and you’ll have the opportunity to grow into more technical roles over time, such as Data Science or ML-focused work.

Responsibilities

  • Own SQL-based analysis and dashboards that monitor key product and growth metrics

  • Identify and interpret patterns in customer behavior, product usage, and A/B test results

  • Translate raw data into clear business recommendations for internal stakeholders

  • Partner with product and engineering to prioritize experiments and inform roadmap decisions

  • Occasionally contribute to model deployment efforts for enterprise use cases

  • Help develop internal tooling and lightweight agents to accelerate analysis

Requirements

  • 4–5+ years of experience in data analytics or quantitative roles

  • Strong SQL skills and comfort analyzing large datasets in a fast-moving environment

  • Ability to apply data thinking to ambiguous product or growth questions

  • Experience running and interpreting experiments or A/B tests in a business context

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills—comfortable presenting insights cross-functionally

  • Bonus: Experience supporting enterprise customers or deploying production models

Benefits

  • Equity in a high-growth startup

  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance

  • Free lunch and dinner in office

  • Collaborative and supportive team environment
