With strong early traction, 3x YoY revenue growth, and over £20M in annual sales, they're now investing heavily in their technology to unlock the next phase: scaling from 150 sites to 5,000+, powered by data, AI, and automation.
Role and responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, microservices-based systems
- Own and evolve our core platform architecture, including APIs, internal tools, and data pipelines
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and commercial teams to deliver meaningful software that solves real business problems
- Work with large, varied data sets from third-party sources (e.g. partner platforms, supply chains, operational data)
- Help turn data into insights and recommendations using AI/ML tooling
- Tackle technical debt and improve system robustness as we scale rapidly
- Contribute to a strong engineering culture rooted in ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement

- Expect to work across data, backend, and light frontend as needed
- £80–110k salary depending on experience
- Equity: 0.5%–1.5% in a business currently valued at ~£45M
- Hybrid working: 3 days/week in their central London office
