Role and responsibilities:
As one of the early engineering hires, you will work closely with the CTO to design, build, and scale the company’s core platform. You’ll be hands-on across the stack with a focus on Ruby on Rails and React, taking ownership of features end-to-end and helping to shape both the product and engineering culture. Job requirements:
- Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and React
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Exposure to infrastructure tools (Render.com, AWS, or GCP)
- Familiarity with AppSignal, GitHub Actions, Resend, Cloudflare (R2) is a plus
- Proven ability to ship clean, efficient code quickly
- Startup mindset: adaptable, collaborative, and impact-driven
- Preference for candidates with a CS degree (not required)
- Ideally currently in role and performing at a high level
