Rate: $80 - $90
Role Location: Phoenix, AZ (hybrid)

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Lead full lifecycle HR transformation projects, owning the RFP process for HRIS platform selection (Workday, UKG, ADP, SuccessFactors, Dayforce or equivalent)
  • Manage end-to-end implementation of the selected HRIS, including configuration, data migration, testing, change management, go-live, and post-go-live optimization
  • Identify and deliver process automation across HR functions (onboarding, payroll, benefits, talent management, reporting, etc.) to improve efficiency and employee experience
  • Build and lead cross-functional project teams, confidently directing and influencing VPs, Directors, and senior stakeholders
  • Partner closely with IT, Finance, Operations, and Legal to ensure seamless integration and full compliance
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, risk registers, and executive-level status reporting
  • Evaluate and recommend HR outsourcing, shared services models, or Professional Employer Organization (PEO) arrangements where they deliver value
  • Create process documentation, training materials, and ensure smooth knowledge transfer to internal teams
Job Requirements:
  • 8+ years progressive HR experience with at least 5 years leading multiple end-to-end HRIS transformation projects (RFP ? selection ? implementation ? automation)
  • Proven success running formal RFPs for HR technology platforms, including vendor evaluation, demos, contract negotiation, and final selection
  • Hands-on experience implementing and optimizing enterprise HRIS platforms with measurable automation and efficiency gains
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and influence senior stakeholders (VPs/Directors/C-suite) at a senior level
  • Strong project management discipline (PMP, Prosci, or similar certification preferred)
  • Excellent stakeholder management, change management, and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s or HR certifications a plus)
  • Preferred: Direct experience with HR outsourcing, shared services centers, or PEO partnerships; background in multi-state / multi-country operations or hospitality/real-estate industries
