Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Front End Engineer with expertise in React, Figma, and design principles to craft seamless, user-centric interfaces for our healthcare platform. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate complex requirements into intuitive, visually appealing, and highly functional web applications. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

  • Collaborate with designers using Figma to translate wireframes, prototypes, and design systems into pixel-perfect, interactive interfaces.

  • Apply design principles (e.g., typography, color theory, layout, accessibility) to create user-friendly, visually consistent experiences.

  • Optimize front-end code for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

  • Participate in design handoffs, ensuring seamless integration of Figma-based designs into production code.

  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of reusable UI components and design systems.

  • Work closely with product teams to iterate on features based on user feedback and business needs.

  • Ensure accessibility (WCAG) standards are met to make our platform inclusive for all users.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging front-end technologies to drive innovation.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years as a Front End Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing React-based projects.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in React (hooks, state management, component lifecycle) and JavaScript (ES6+).

    • Hands-on experience with Figma for collaborating on UI/UX designs, prototyping, and design handoffs.

    • Familiarity with modern front-end tools and frameworks (e.g., TypeScript, Webpack, Vite, Tailwind CSS).

    • Experience with version control (Git) and agile development workflows.

  • Design Acumen: Strong understanding of design principles, including UI/UX best practices, responsive design, and accessibility standards.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and engineers.

    • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering user-centric solutions.

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with a proactive, self-motivated attitude.

  • Nice-to-Haves:

    • Experience in HealthTech or related industries.

    • Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).

    • Knowledge of backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, GraphQL) for better API integration.

    • Contributions to design systems or component libraries.
