Role and responsibilities:

I’m looking to recruit a Chief Legal Officer (CLO) who thrives in fast-moving, global technology environments and can lead all legal, compliance, and regulatory matters for a rapidly scaling robotics company. This is a strategic role, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with senior leadership across engineering, product, and operations.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Shaping and executing the company’s global legal strategy across corporate, commercial, and regulatory domains.

• Advising the executive team and board on strategic transactions, fundraising, partnerships, and M&A.

• Leading compliance with international robotics, AI, data protection, and export control regulations.

• Drafting, negotiating, and managing high-value contracts with customers, suppliers, and partners.

• Managing external counsel across multiple jurisdictions, with a strong focus on Russia/CIS and European markets.
  Building and leading a best-in-class legal and compliance function to support the company’s growth.

Job requirements:

• Qualified lawyer with proven experience as a senior legal leader (GC / CLO / Head of Legal) in tech, robotics, AI, or adjacent industries.

• Fluent in Russian and English—both spoken and written, to operate across global markets.

• Strong track record in handling complex commercial agreements, corporate governance, and cross-border compliance.

• Deep understanding of international regulatory frameworks around robotics, AI, and data.

• Comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level in a fast-paced, scaling company.
