Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Architect and develop blockchain-based systems such as wallets, DEX components, and smart contracts.

• Guide infrastructure decisions for both on-chain and off-chain components with a focus on performance and security.

• Evaluate blockchain platforms, tools, and protocols suitable for various use cases.

• Stay up to date on blockchain advancements, including L1/L2s, rollups, bridges, and hybrid solutions.

Strategic Direction

• Serve as the subject matter expert on blockchain initiatives, advising on feasibility, risks, and opportunities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define blockchain product strategies aligned with business goals.

• Conduct research on industry trends including crypto payments, DeFi, tokenization, and interoperability.

Development & Implementation

• Write secure smart contracts using Solidity, Rust, or Move.

• Build backend services for blockchain interactions with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Implement and optimize crypto payment flows with attention to compliance and security standards.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

• Work alongside developers, DevOps, security, and product teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.

• Mentor engineering teams on blockchain technologies and best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Must-Have Skills

• Deep understanding of blockchain ecosystems, including protocols, wallets, DEXs, and crypto payment flows.

• Experience with major blockchains like Ethereum, Solana, or Polkadot.

• Smart contract development proficiency (Solidity, Rust, or Move).

• Strong knowledge of gas optimization, consensus algorithms, and security practices.

• Programming experience with Rust and TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Node.js, Web3.js, ethers.js, and event-driven architectures.

• Experience with containerization and cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, etc.).

Nice-to-Have Experience

• MEV strategies, Flashbots, or on-chain arbitrage.

• Privacy tech such as zk-SNARKs or zk-Rollups.

• Familiarity with major DeFi protocols (e.g., Aave, Uniswap, Curve).

• Knowledge of cross-chain and interoperability frameworks.
