Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient solutions. ? Implement and maintain code for internal tools, ensuring high performance and accessibility. ? Build and optimize data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data into the data warehouse. ? Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate backend services with Angular-based user interfaces. ? Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with proper documentation and unit tests. ? Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices in backend development and data warehousing. Required Skills: ? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) ? 2+ years of experience as a Backend Developer or similar role, with a focus in any modern language, e.g. Go, Java, Rust, Typescript, or Python (strong preference for imperative languages, weak preference for strongly-typed languages) ? Ability to create advanced algorithms and techniques within the Golang code base ? Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services for CI/CD pipelines ? Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization techniques ? Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows ? Angular experience is a plus, with the ability to integrate backend services with Angular-based UIs ? Ability to work full time, on-site in Boston’s Seaport District
