Job Title: Applied Research Scientist – Model Fine-Tuning
Salary: $200,000 – $300,000 + equity (depending on experience)
Location: San Francisco or New York City (on-site preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Fine-tune pre-trained generative models, including those based on 3D data and video diffusion techniques, for specialized applications and tasks.
• Develop strategies to optimize model adaptation through techniques like transfer learning, data augmentation, and domain-specific tuning.
• Evaluate and benchmark model performance using metrics relevant to generative outputs, particularly in video generation contexts.
• Work closely with cross-functional research and engineering teams to align technical approaches with broader project objectives.
• Document methodologies, experiments, and findings to support internal knowledge sharing and ongoing improvements.

Requirements:

• PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, with research or applied focus on model adaptation or generative AI.
• Strong experience in fine-tuning and transfer learning for deep learning models, particularly within generative modeling frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with deep learning libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and experimental design skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a proactive attitude towards working in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
