With a fast-paced, powerhouse team of over 275 professionals across 8 states, they leverage cutting-edge technology to redefine legal efficiency. Role and Responsibilities: As a member of the Systems Administration team, you will contribute to the health, logic, and continuous improvement of their CaseAware platform. You will work alongside other administrators and developers to translate legal requirements into automated workflows, ensuring their 300+ teammates have the most efficient tools to deliver results. This role requires a balance of technical execution, data integrity management, and collaborative problem-solving. Core responsibilities include:
Workflow Collaboration: Work with the systems team to design and deploy automated workflows that standardize legal processes across all 8 states of practice.
System Logic & SQL: Develop and refine the SQL-based logic (specifically MySQL dialect) that powers CaseAware’s internal task-routing and decisioning engines.
Document Intelligence: Support the maintenance of the firm’s intelligent legal template library, utilizing CaseAware’s logic-tags to ensure accurate document generation across multiple jurisdictions.
Administrative Support: Execute back-end administrative tasks, including managing custom fields, user screens, and system settings as directed by team priorities.
BI Visualization: Contribute to the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards to provide actionable insights into firm performance and productivity.
Data Transformation: Utilize Power Query and SQL to transform raw CaseAware data into structured reports for team and leadership review.
Ad-Hoc Reporting: Provide rapid-response SQL queries to support departmental needs, client audits, or urgent litigation requirements.
Quality Assurance: Participate in regular data integrity audits to identify and resolve logic conflicts or synchronization errors within the CaseAware database.
Cross-Functional Communication: Act as a technical resource for legal and administrative staff, helping to troubleshoot system issues and translate user needs into technical enhancements.
Job Requirements:
Platform Experience: Hands-on experience with CaseAware administration is required, including familiarity with its database structure and automation mechanisms.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (MySQL) for querying and system logic; experience building or maintaining reports in Power BI and Power Query; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Collaboration: A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively within a structured IT/Systems department.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and data accuracy.
Bonus Assets: Experience with C#, Python, or other scripting languages for automation is a significant plus.
