Position Overview:
My client are looking for a Senior/Staff Engineer to join their talented team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with React, along with proficiency in Ruby on Rails or Ruby. Additionally, coaching and mentoring abilities, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in Kubernetes and AWS are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of React-based solutions, ensuring high-quality code and scalable architecture.
Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
Drive best practices in software development, including testing, code reviews, and documentation.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- 9+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Extensive experience with React and proficiency in Ruby on Rails or Ruby.
- Strong coaching and mentoring abilities, with a passion for helping team members grow.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS services.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other front-end frameworks such as Angular or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with containerization and microservices architecture.
