At Signify, I focus on supporting the hiring of advanced software engineers, with a particular passion for creating a positive and seamless candidate experience throughout the hiring process. I enjoy building relationships with candidates, understanding their career goals, and helping connect them with opportunities that align with their skills, ambitions, and values.

 

Throughout my career, I've worked across the UK, US, Europe and South Africa, specialising in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and other emerging technology disciplines.

 

I hold a B-Tech Degree and Diploma in Human Resources Management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. My approach combines market insight, curiosity, and a people-first mindset to ensure candidates feel supported and valued at every stage of their journey.

 

When I’m not talking my candidates’ ears off, I’m travelling, trying new food spots, and testing whether the hobbies I struggled with as a kid were actually difficult or whether I was just impatient.

 

In Xhosa, we say "Umntu ngumntu ngabantu," which directly translates to "a person is a person through other people." This principle of Ubuntu has shaped both my personal and professional approach to life. It serves as a reminder that success is built through meaningful relationships, collaboration, and investing in people. As someone who has built a career around connecting people and opportunities, I value authenticity, community, and helping others achieve their goals. To me, consulting is more than filling roles; it's about creating opportunities that can positively impact people's lives and careers.
