I'm Andrew, Country Director for Signify Technology's South Africa operation, based in Cape Town. I've been brought on to build and lead our first dedicated delivery hub on the continent, providing screened, qualified shortlists to Signify's UK and US teams across advanced software engineering, AI, ML, and data engineering.
I have 20 years of recruitment experience, the last 16 based in South Africa and the last 10 focused on technology. Before Signify, I ran my own recruitment delivery business supporting international clients from Cape Town, and held director-level roles building and scaling technology recruitment teams across EMEA and Sub-Saharan Africa.
I'm at my best when I can get the mechanics of delivery right: clean workflows, clear standards, and a team of capable people doing excellent work. I’m here to build a function that genuinely extends Signify's global capability rather than just adding headcount.
Outside of work, I'm a long-suffering Chelsea fan, a keen traveller, and always up for good food and good wine.
