Job Description

Signify Technology are now working with an international Travel Tech company who operate in over 150 countries. My client currently requires Scala Developers to join them in their London location to work on a Functional Scala project. 

You will play a valuable role in a small team helping build their scalable system. You will be working alongside other teams closely and you will help bring together the project to help the organization develop further.

If you are a skilled Scala Developer and want to use your Functional Programming within an interesting project alongside other highly skilled developers then this is a great role for you. My client will offer an initial 6-month contract with it likely to be extended - they are able to offer a daily rate of around £400 and can reach up to £500 for extremely experienced candidates.

  • Work with a large and fast-growing brand 
  • Build a scalable system 
  • Operate within a small team 
  • Utilise your Scala skills in an interesting project 


Skills & Experience

  • Extensive Experience with Scala 
  • Functional Scala Experience (i.e.. CATS & Shapesless) 
  • Previous Experience with Java 
  • Experience with AKKA, Kafka & preferably Cassandra 
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Jenkins, AWS, Docker is a bonus
