Job Title: Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Audio/Video Creation Tools
Salary: $180,000 – $210,000 + equity
Location: New York City or San Francisco (on-site)

Responsibilities:

• Build full-stack features across a video/audio creation platform using React, NextJS, TypeScript, and Python
• Work with emerging web standards like WebCodecs, WebAssembly, FFMPEG, and streaming formats (MP4, MKV, HLS, MP-DASH)
• Design APIs and backend services with Python/Golang, integrate with Kafka, SQS, S3, and DynamoDB for event-driven architectures
• Deploy to Kubernetes infrastructure and collaborate closely with ML researchers and product designers
• Contribute to product direction and engineering strategy in a fast-paced startup environment

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, React, NextJS, and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with modern audio/video tools and standards (e.g. FFMPEG, WebRTC, HLS)
• Strong product sense and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Prior experience in a startup or fast-moving environment
• Python or Golang backend experience
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and cloud deployments on Nvidia hardware
• Familiar with OAuth2, OIDC, CI/CD, Playwright, and scalable backend services
• Understanding of WASM, websockets, IndexedDB, coroutines, and streaming infrastructure
