Note: Hires for this position must be based in San Francisco or willing to relocate. Data Engineers located in Seattle, Portland, and Southern California will also be considered.

A company known for revolutionizing the way enterprise businesses interact with their Data is looking to hire 3 Staff level Data Engineers that are expert level in Spark and Airflow. This company is known to have some of the strongest Data engineers in the entire country so this is probably one of the most high-powered teams you could be part of. They mainly partner with fortune 500 companies across a variety of industries that are looking to transform their legacy Data engineering practices into accessible, modern, and simple technologies. Data Engineers for this role must also be able to write efficient and easily readable Scala or Python code and have interest or prior experience working directly with clients and customers. Required Experience

• 6 - 9 years of complex and high-level Data Engineering experience
• Strong foundation dealing with the ETL process
• 3 - 5 years minimum working with Apache Spark and solving Spark issues consistently at a large-scale organization or unicorn startup
• Relevant experience working hands-on with Airflow
• Degree in Computer Science/Mathematics or similar (Master's / PhD Preferred)

• Expert level development experience with Scala or Python
• Excellent communication skills
• Prior experience working with clients and stakeholders directly (or interest in doing so)
• Proven history of working with Fortune 500 companies or highly successful startups
