Job Description
I am looking for a Staff Data Engineer to join a growing, Series A startup. This org has created a low code platform and are now partnered with well know enterprise companies to service them with this product. This is a one of a kind opportunity to engage in challenging work and have big influence on the products you create.
What you will bring:
- At least 7 years of hands on Data Engineering experience
- Expertise in Spark
- Extensive experience with challenging ETL development and finding performance issue solutions
- Solid Proficiency in Python or Scala
- Desire and ability to solve challenging problems
Highly Desired Requirements:
- Prior experience in a customer facing role or desire to be in one
- Experience with Airflow
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- History working in enterprise and/or startup environments
