Role: Software Engineer (Scala)Location: Portugal (fully remote)
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: €32,500 - €46,000 + 10% bonus
Signify Technology has partnered with an exciting Fintech company whose financial platform has transformed how individuals, companies and financial institutions best handle their assets. The platform has served $130 Billion + worth of client assets across global markets.
They are looking for a Software Engineer to join their Portugal based teams being involved in key elements of the development cycle, while scaling the backend team to meet the needs required to grow the platform to handle more traffic. You will work directly with clients being responsible for the technical architecture of new projects.
The tech stack used is open-source technologies Scala, Akka, Postgres and cloud technologies AWS. The office is based in Lisbon, but you can work remotely from anywhere in Portugal.
There are no sponsorship options with this role.
Requirements
- Experience working with modern programming language (Scala is a big plus)
- Hands on experience working with other opensource technologies Akka, Postgres
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS)
- Experience building APIs for large scale applications
- Leadership/ mentorship experience is a big plus
- Knowledge or willing to learn about financial products
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
