Position: Senior Software Developer (Java/Scala)Location: Onsite/Remote
Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000

Our client is looking for developers who will be at the forefront of engineering groundbreaking solutions that power their industry-leading products. Collaborate with a highly skilled team of developers and working closely with a product manager to find innovative solutions to real-world problems.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the design, development, automation, and deployment of new features and functionalities.
- Actively participate in the software development life cycle, engaging in sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, daily standups, and code review activities.
- Effectively communicate technical decisions through design documentation, tech talks, and internal knowledge sharing platforms.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers through pairing sessions, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Regularly contribute to product demos and collaborate crossfunctionally with Product, Design, and other teams.
Expectations for this role:
- Exhibit sound judgment and make wellreasoned design decisions in your area of expertise.
- Showcase adaptability and the ability to work across various sections of the codebase with minimal guidance.
- Stay upto-date with industry trends and possess knowledge of our infrastructure and build system, including sbt, JavaScript transpilation, GitLab, and Git.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of handson programming experience in Java and/or Scala, alongside proficiency in JavaScript.

Compensation:
The annual salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $180,000, with additional bonuses and equity opportunities. The actual salary offered will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, training, and current market conditions. Please note that the salary range is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future. This position also offers potential salary increases due to specialization, performance or tenure.
