Job Description
One of our hottest FinTech clients is looking for several Backend Software Engineers with a background and interest in Functional Programming to join their growing team.
You Will:
- Improve their platform by creating new APIs, designing new systems, building applications and more
- Build cloud services in a Microservice driven architecture
- Work in highly functional tech stack including Scala, Python, Akka, Zio etc.
- Work cross functionally with other teams across the org
What You Bring:
- Minimally 4 years of professional backend engineering experience / Minimally 6 years for a Senior level role
- Professional experience with Scala or Python (Scala is highly preferred)
- Experience working with relational databases
- Knowledge of, or experience with Akka, Cats-effect and/or Zio is highly desired
This role offers a base, annual bonus & stock options. Please note this is a hybrid role so candidates must be okay with working a hybrid schedule (3 days a week) out of one of their Tri-State offices.
