Job Description
Role: Senior Scala Engineer
Location: Remote EU
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: €75,000 - €80,000
Signify Technology is working with a dynamic and forward-thinking company in the iGaming industry. You would join their expanding distributed engineering team working alongside a group of exceptionally talented Scala Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly maintainable and reusable code
- Implement automated and unit tests
- Work alongside other technical stakeholders maintaining existing systems
- Optimize applications to maximize scalability
- Participate in code and design reviews
- Manager hosting environments, including basic database administration and scaling of application to support load changes
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Scala and Java
- Experienced with Typelevel stack (Cats, Cats Effect, Doobie, Http4s, Doobie etc.)
- Knowledge of Akka and it's ecosystem
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
