Back End Scala Engineer
U.K - Remote Role
£100,000
Signify Technology has partnered with a global software-as-a-service organization that empowers its clients' decision-making through bespoke analytics infrastructure. We are looking to strengthen an already successful multi-discipline engineering team. As a Back-End Scala Engineer, you will design and develop and code for new and existing client platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop Scala applications using scalable technologies.
- Analyse and maintain existing software applications.
- Support analytics tools to support diverse tasks ranging from ad hoc analysis to production-grade pipelines and workflows or customer applications
The ideal candidate will come with:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
- Commercial development experience with Scala/Akka, Spark, and Swagger.
- A passion for agile software delivery.
This is a fully remote role however you must be UK-based at the start date.
