Responsibilities;

  • Develop quality software using Test Driven Development and Pair Programming
  • Work on exciting products and new capabilities to our applications
  • Be committed to ensuring our Users receive the best service
  • Improve the codebase and actively participate in all aspects of the team - daily stand up meetings, planning, etc
  • Share and create new ideas, providing constructive and useful feedback with peers
  • Deliver work that is accurate, thorough and always drive towards excellence
  • You play an active part in our Technology communities
  • You are an active contributor to internal and/or external open source projects
  • You are actively mentoring and coaching other members of the team, your help has a recognized impact on their development

Desirables;

  • SMACK stack, Big Data pipelines and Machine Learning
  • TDD and BDD background
  • Unit, Functional and Non-Functional testing experience
  • Continuous Delivery experience 
  • Open source and commercial technologies knowledge
  • Development experience within high capacity, high traffic (1 million sign-ins a day), high availability websites/systems
  • Agile / Scrum / Kanban methodologies
  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent industry experience
