Job Title: Scala Developer

Signify is partnering with a new exciting company in the Media industry for its innovative products and services that reach millions of users worldwide. They are on a mission to improve the way people consume media, and they are searching for a talented Scala Developer to join our dynamic team.
They are looking for a skilled Scala Developer to contribute to our exciting projects within the media industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product development, be passionate about creating exceptional user experiences, and be proficient in Scala, Akka, and other related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems.
Implement and optimize features, ensuring the highest quality and performance of our media products.
Write clean and efficient code in Scala, while adhering to best coding practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of our media platforms.
Participate in code reviews, sharing your expertise and providing constructive feedback.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Proven experience as a Scala Developer in a product-oriented environment.
Strong expertise in Scala and Akka.
Experience with functional programming and the Play Framework.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Proficiency in working with databases, such as PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Passion for media and a desire to create engaging user experiences.
