Job Description
Role: Scala Developer
Salary: Up to €75,000 (B2B)
Location: Fully Remote in Europe
Signify Technology are working with a iGaming company who are currently hiring for a skilled functional Scala developer to work on their expanding platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Scala microservices using functional programming with Cats-Effect.
- Make architectural decisions to improve product performance and maintainability, improving legacy Java codebase to updated Scala
- Optimize applications to maximize scalability
- Participate in code and design reviews
- Manager hosting environments, including basic database administration and scaling of application to support load changes
Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Scala and Java
- Experienced with Typelevel stack (Cats, Cats Effect, Doobie, Http4s, Doobie etc.)
- Knowledge of Akka and it's ecosystem
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
