Role: Senior Golang Engineer
Location: Remote Europe
Salary: ~€110k per annum
My clients are in search of a skilled Software Engineer who has strong experience with Kubernetes and Go programming, and the Linux Networking Stack. The chosen candidate will join their exceptional engineering team, dedicated to crafting their product.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to conceive, construct, and sustain their product.
- Leverage your profound comprehension of Kubernetes, Helm, and DevOps practices to ensure the delivery of exceptional services.
- Engage in pivotal architectural determinations and play a substantial role in enhancing and evolving our product.
- Write and troubleshoot code in languages such as Go, C, Scala, or Python, showcasing a comprehensive grasp of the Linux networking stack.
- Execute code reviews and uphold exacting standards of quality.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- Extensive familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm.
- Demonstrated engineering experience, ideally with Go
- An understanding of the Linux Networking Stack
- Previous involvement in contributing to Linux kernel code is highly advantageous.
- Contributions to key open source projects, public speaking etc. is highly beneficial.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Scala is a positive attribute, although not obligatory.
