Job Description
Position: Senior Full-Stack DeveloperSalary: 95,000 - Amsterdam
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional feature teams on bi-weekly sprint goals, working alongside full-stack developers, testers, and product owners.
- Ensure software quality through active participation in pull requests, pair programming sessions, and the implementation of unit tests, end-to-end tests, and monitoring/logging tools (Grafana and Graylog).
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the company, providing feedback and a vision for enhancing efficiency.
- Engage in exploration days to foster innovation and creativity, dedicating 10% of working time to novel ideas.
- Be a proactive learner to adapt and contribute to an up-to-date modern technology stack, including Google Computing Cloud, Apache Spark, Scala with ZIO, and a transition from ClojureScript to Typescript in the front-end.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack developer.
- Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript for front-end development and Scala for back-end development.
- Strong background in Agile methodologies and practices.
- Expertise in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and a passion for Q.A. automation or TDD.
- Knowledge of functional programming with a willingness to learn and share your expertise.
- Additional experience in React and associated web technologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and container-based deployments.
- Appreciation for Open Source contributions.
