Senior Frontend Engineer

Location: Remote Germany

Salary: €70,000-€90,000 experience depending

Responsible for building interactive web applications and data visualizations, this is an opportunity for a Senior Frontend Engineer to come in and be a part of a team who are the pillars of the company.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of our web applications and guiding their future direction and architecture in collaborating with product managers and designers.
• Using mapbox tools, you will utilise plot location information and analyse to improve products
• Develop new features, components and experiences for web applications
• Mocking up and prototyping new functionality, visualizations and applications
• Designing and developing internal applications together with data scientists and backend engineers
• Coaching and growing a team of Frontend Engineers distributed across multiple geographies

Qualifications

• Professional and demonstrable experience in building web applications with strong UI/UX using modern technologies
• Strong knowledge with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience in Mapbox tools is a must, including knowledge of geospatial data, web mapping and geographic visualization
• Know-how in scalable frontend development architectures
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to efficiently coach other members
• Experience setting and leading to results-oriented metrics, organizational and time management skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proficiency in English

This is a data heavy role, where you will be using MongoDB to set up queries for a complex database to enable frontend analytics.
