Senior Data Engineer (Scala)

Job Description

I am working with a large, multinational and leading company serving the electrical power industry with the state-of-the-art solutions. With customers in over 155 locations use their products and services on a daily basis to make the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity safer and more reliable

For their IT team based in Berlin, Germany, they are currently looking for a

Data Engineer, full or part time (f/m/x)

Responsibility

• The support and further development of the new Modern Data Warehouse environment
• Create the data from different systems for their departments
• Develop and support ETL & ELT processes and connect the source systems to the DWH
• Support and advise the users in queries of data analysis and report creation

Qualification

• Good knowledge of SQL and experience in C#, Python or Scala
• Experience in infrastructure, ideally Microsoft Azure (Azure Modern Datawarehouse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Server)
• Experience in reporting tools, preferably in PowerBI
• A degree in business informatics, computer science or mathematics
