Job Description
Role: Data Engineer
Location: Remote in Romania
Job Type: Initial 6 month contract
Signify Technology's clients are a large SaaS company, originally based in the US and are expanding their European engineering team, where they are now looking for a Data Engineer in Romania to join their remote team on a contractual basis, where you'll be able to showcase your skills on various different projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team leads and architects to design and deploy contemporary, scalable data solutions, leveraging a variety of cutting-edge technologies.
- Employ Agile methodologies and implementation strategies throughout the project's lifecycle for efficient delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a data engineer
- Proficient with either Scala or Python
- Strong big data experience, working with Hadoop / Spark
- Demonstrated experience with Data Lake / Data Warehouse / Lakehouse
- Experience with AWS.
