Fully remote in the US
Signify is partnered with a EduTech company that is paving the way for streamlined and student friendly college application processes. This includes personalized research of schools, peer advice, and Machine Learning powered guidance throughout the application and admissions process.
Their user base is well over 20 million students and quickly growing!
We are looking for Data Engineers to join the team and help scale the data platform.
You will:
- Build and improve the data platform that powers new features, analytics, and business insights.
- Create solutions for metadata tracking, data versioning, and data ingestion
- Play a critical part in the growth of the company
- 3+ years of experience with Python and/or Scala in a data environment
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Experience working with tools such as Airflow, Luigi, or Argo
- Experience with AWS tooling
- Experience with building ETL and ELT pipelines and data warehousing
- Interested or experienced with Machine Learning in a data environment
- Familiarity with tools like Kafka and Spark for streaming at scale
- Interest in functional programming
