100% Remote Working - Anywhere in Europe
The Company
Signify Technology's client, a global leader in online gaming - are looking to add a DevOps Engineer/Scala Developer for a long term project - working as part of their core services team.
The responsibilities of the team are
* Build & maintain core services that are used by many of our products, in particular around identity/authorization as owners of our identity/SSO product ID
* Build, maintain & lead how our services are built, deployed and run: CI/CD, devops, "plumbing", putting our services together with each other and other systems, designing/building best practices for our environments (dev to prod)
* Research & develop new ways of building things: new libraries, tools, systems, infra, etc
At the moment the team is dedicated to migrating our biggest/oldest products from our datacenter to AWS, so heavy focus on the 2nd point
Our stack in no particular order: Scala (duh!), pants (monorepo), marathon, mesos, k8s, postgres, cassandra, kafka, zookeeper, traefik, ansible, terraform, GitLab, rancher, prometheus, grafana, elasticsearch/ELK, and still a large PHP monolith to keep running (but not actively develop in for this team!)
