Role: Mid – Senior Scala EngineerLocation: London (hybrid 3 days per week)
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £90,000
Signify Technology has partnered with a market leading sports betting streaming service. The clients platform is continuously working in the background to ensure customers across the globe have access to real time, precise and relevant data. The platform isn’t limited to any one sport or fixture. Customers have access to the world’s most thorough betting odds archive.
The client is looking for mid – senior Scala Engineers who is motivated to influencing core parts of the code in key projects under active development and improvement. The tech stack used Scala with the Typelevel frameworks (Cats, Cats Effect, http4s, and fs2). Test Driven Development is at the core of what the team do to ensure all code is robust and ready to deal with growing demands.
Requirements
- Experience working with Scala and Typelevel stack
- Experience with cloud technologies AWS and Kubernetes
- Experience working on backend components such as real time streaming, distributed in-memory platforms
- Test driven development approach
- Degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent certification and/or relevant work experience)
- Candidates must be able to work within the UK without requirement for sponsorship
